Brand safety certification from the world’s largest initiative of its kind follows independent audit

Brand safety is a critical component of SmartFrame’s product and a key reason publishers and advertisers choose to do business with us.

So we’re delighted to announce that SmartFrame has been awarded the Brand Safety Certified (BSC) seal by the Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG).

Launched in 2020, TAG’s Brand Safety Certification program is the largest and broadest global program of its kind.

One of four digital certificates offered by TAG, the Brand Safety Certified seal is awarded to companies whose technologies protect against the misplacement of advertising on digital media.

The certification follows independent validation by a third-party auditor, and confirms that SmartFrame is proactively fighting fraudulent activity in digital advertising.

“Brands have the right to ensure their creatives are displayed in environments that align with their values,” says Rob Sewell, CEO of SmartFrame Technologies. “This certification validates the significant measures the company has implemented to make the SmartFrame platform trustworthy and resilient against bad actors. I’m delighted to see our efforts recognized by TAG.”

TAG was established in 2020 by the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A’s), the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), and the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), with a mission to combat criminal activity and protect brand safety in the digital ad supply chain.

Its Leadership Council includes several key players from the worlds of advertising, publishing, and tech, including Google, Disney, Meta, Dentsu, GroupM, and Omnicom.
