Company’s disruptive image-streaming technology is nominated in the Tech Breakthrough category at this year’s awards

Every year, the Leaders Sports Awards celebrate the key players committed to elevating the world of sports to new heights.

From initiatives that enhance fan engagement and cross-platform entertainment experiences to exceptional agencies and individuals in the industry, the awards honor those shaping the future of sports in the most innovative ways.

So it gives us great pleasure to announce that SmartFrame’s technology has been recognized by the organization, earning a nomination in this year’s awards.

SmartFrame has been shortlisted in the Tech Breakthrough Award category, which recognizes “a leading small organization that has created a piece of tech or is enabling organizations to embrace technology with a disruptive approach.”

The nomination pertains to SmartFrame’s image-streaming solution for sports brands; SmartFrame is now the official image-streaming distributor for some of the world’s greatest sporting organizations, including Manchester City F.C., New Zealand Rugby, and Six Nations Rugby.

SmartFrame now offers over 650 million embeddable images from a range of content partners – and it’s rapidly being adopted by publishers around the world.

This nomination is the latest in a series of acknowledgments this year for our technology. It follows nominations in the Digiday Media Awards and FEVO Sports Industry Awards, as well as a top 10 placement in BusinessCloud’s MediaTech 50 list.

Furthermore, it comes just a few weeks after we announced that SmartFrame has been awarded the Brand Safety Certified seal by TAG.

The winners will be announced on 15 October 2024 at a ceremony at BAFTA, London. In the meantime, you can find out more about the nomination on the Leaders Sports Awards site.
