Types of reports

In the Insights section, there are three main kinds of reports:

  • Image Report, with data organised per image
  • Embed Report, with data organised per SmartFrame (unique image and URL combination), either an SF Embed or SF Web Component
  • Domain Report, with data organised per domain

Image Report

Data in Image Report are organised per image. It means that the results for all the embeds using the same particular image are summed up together.

For each image, the following data are available:

  • Views
  • Avg. time displayed
  • Clicks
  • Engagement rate
  • Shares
  • Embeds – the number of embeds using the image

Embed Report

Data are organised per SmartFrame which is a combination of an image on a specific URL. In the Embed Report you can directly manage your embeds by blocking them on certain URLs or changing the theme they use.

Embed Report consists of three secondary reports:

  • Basic Usage report
  • Interaction report, showing data regarding viewers’ interactions with a SmartFrame
  • Sharing report, showing data regarding sharing the SmartFrame

Here’s an overview of data available in each secondary report:

Blocked embeds and blacklisted domains

In the Insights Embed Report, you can still see the blocked SmartFrames and SmartFrames on the blacklisted domain. It allows you to check the historical data for these SmartFrames, as no new data will be received after a SmartFrame has been blocked or a domain has been blacklisted.

Results for both blocked SmartFrames and SmartFrames on blacklisted domains will be greyed out, so you can quickly distinguish them from the active embeds. Additionally, you will see a blocked icon next to the blocked SmartFrames and names of the blacklisted domains will be highlighted in red.

Organising the Embed Report

In order to make the Embed Report easier to use and more relevant for your needs, you can select which data you want to include in each of the secondary reports. To do it, click on the settings icon on top of the report table and deselect the columns you don’t want to see. These settings will be saved automatically so the next time you open the Embed Report, it will only show the columns which you have selected.

Domain Report

Data in the Domain Report are organised per domain. It means that the results for all SmartFrames on the particular domain are summed up together. For each domain, the following data are available:

  • Embeds – number of embeds on that domain
  • Views
  • Avg. time displayed
  • Clicks
  • Engagement rate
  • Shares
