SmartFrames

Data in SmartFrames are organized per SmartFrame, which is a combination of an image with a specific URL. This is also where you can also manage your embeds by blocking them on certain URLs or changing the Theme they use.

This section consists of three secondary reports:

  • Basic Usage
  • Interaction (data regarding viewers’ interactions with a SmartFrame)
  • Sharing (data regarding shares of a SmartFrame)

Here’s an overview of data available in each secondary report:

Blocked embeds, blacklisted domains and missing images

You can see blocked SmartFrames and SmartFrames on blacklisted domains across these reports, as well as SmartFrames with missing images. Simply click on the Status drop-down menu on the right-hand side and select the relevant option. Please note: the information shown here only applies to the period of time in which the SmartFrame was fully functional, as no new data is received after a SmartFrame has been blocked, a domain has been blacklisted or an image has been removed.

Results for both blocked SmartFrames and SmartFrames on blacklisted domains will be greyed out, so you can quickly distinguish these from active embeds. Additionally, you will see a blocked icon next to the blocked SmartFrames, while names of blacklisted domains will be highlighted in red.

Organizing this information

In order to make this information easier to use and more relevant to your needs, you can select which data you want to include in each of the secondary reports.

To do this, click on the Settings icon on top of the report table and deselect the columns you don’t want to see. These settings will be saved automatically, so the next time you visit this section it will only show the columns that you have selected.

Domains

Data in the Domains are organized per domain. This means that the results for all SmartFrames on that particular domain are summed. For each domain, the following data are available:

  • Views
  • SmartFrames (the number of embeds using the image)
  • Average time displayed
  • Clicks
  • Views with clicks
  • Engagement rate
  • Shares
