Ordinarily, the changes you make in the Admin Panel will take effect as soon as you save them. This happens in what we call a production environment.
It is, however, also possible to experiment with certain features and see what kind of effect they have without you needing to commit to them. This can be carried out in another type of environment called a sandbox.
What is a sandbox?
A sandbox is a copy of your production environment, albeit one with reduced functionality and storage. It is designed specifically for testing and development.
You can switch between this and the production environment at any time.
How do I access the sandbox environment?
If you would like access to a sandbox environment for your account, simply contact us and we will enable this.
How to switch between production and sandbox environments
To switch to the production environment from a sandbox environment, simply log out of your account and log back in again.
Please note that any changes you make in a sandbox environment that you wish to implement in your production environment will not automatically be carried over. You will need to make these same changes once again when you are logged in to your production environment.
