Direct link

The Direct link sharing option allows you to share a URL to one of your SmartFrame images.

You can obtain a Direct link to a specific SmartFrame by clicking on the image of your choice in the Images panel, before clicking on the icon next to Direct link, which sits at the bottom of the Image information section.

If you want to further control how your SmartFrames can be shared, you can choose whether such a link can be obtained from a SmartFrame and shared by others. To change this setting, head to the Themes section of the Admin Panel, before selecting the Edit option within the Theme of your choice. Now just select the Sharing setting from the left-hand-side menu and check or uncheck the box next to Display link.

You can also control whether a click on the shared Direct link opens the page wherever the SmartFrame has been embedded – such as an article that contains a number of SmartFrames – or a standalone Image Page that has the SmartFrame appearing on its own. The former is the default option.

To change any of these settings, head to the Control section of the Admin Panel, before scrolling down to Direct link.
